From the opening track featuring the soulful vocals of Shirley Murdock to the deeply personal final worship cut, there are no disappointments on this album. Each track features the expressive vocals of Hobbs supported by superb and varied instrumentation. ‘Broken’ contains everything from urban dance tracks to deeply intimate songs of praise and worship. For all the lovers out there, the album even includes a love song, (we could do with a few more of those) “Beautiful To Me”, and he’s not singing to God, folks. I imagine this will be the theme song for a lot of weddings in 2004. The “Thank You Song” and “Praz Him” gives you an opportunity to kick off your shoes and get your praise down. If you are contemporary gospel fan, this is a must have album.

Am convinced that Darwin is a true worshipper since you can see the passion for God in his music
