A praise and worship songwriter with a growing reputation, David's performance here is pleasant, gentle and laid back. Despite the reflective mood however the arrangements were dully unoriginal. Dave has an easy-on-the-ear voice but over an album length that too proved slightly monotonous. The man writes some excellent songs, my personal favourites being "Jesus Our Great High Priest" and his classic "Be Still". I did enjoy the various interludes of classical guitar scattered throughout the recording. I am sure after a few listens people will get to enjoy the album but for somebody wanting to investigate a gifted worship songwriter maybe purchasing the 'Be Still For The Presence Of The Lord' songbook would be a better option.
