this was david's first proper album release, prior to this he had made a demo album called calvary tears and after this released a live album of a musical he had written called celebrate the king, before the release of the magnificent albums banner, season of singing, storm to a whisper and can you hear the sound. the stand out track on child is the carpenter which is still being sung today
