As those who follow the mainstream Irish music scene will know, Dominic has been a successful singer for 25 years, with over 20 albums under his belt and being awarded Entertainer Of The Year by BBC Ireland. Here we have 25 songs all freshly recorded. Some are classics from his quarter of a century such as "Try A Little Kindness" and "Noreen Bawn". As with the way of most MOR crooners, many of the new tracks are cover versions so here we have "I just Can't Help Believing" (made popular by Elvis) and "I Could Easily Fall In Love With You" (Cliff Richard). This is the weakness of the collection as these covers, although polished, bring nothing new to the listener. In the case of "Love Changes Everything", Dominic's voice does not reach the heights of Michael Ball's and therefore stands in a very firm second place. This said, Dominic is clearly an accomplished balladeer with many fans, and this collection demonstrates his appeal amongst those with easy listening music tastes.
