The Elm Project are led by UK reggae gospel man Errol Mundle and he and other lead vocalists perform the 15 tracks here. Some material is their own but many tracks are reggae adaptations of songs by such writers as TD Jakes ("When God Gave Me To You"), Kirk Franklin ("Seek Jesus Christ") and Don Moen ("Great Is Your Mercy"). The project has come together through the work of Jet Star Phonographics and the support of Errol's church in Nottingham. Reggae is an ideal style for expressing the Gospel in praise and thanks and this album exudes vitality and warmth.
