This second album produced by British-based reggae and worship man Errol Mundle (who you might have read about recently in Cross Rhythms). Unlike the first volume released on the now defunct Jetstar Records, 'Gospel Reggae Vibes 2' is released on Mundle's own label Elm Tree Records. This time the album features just one vocalist, a Nottingham-based diva, Marcie Elliot. Her powerful voice clearly deserves to be showcased and although the material here is a tad predictable this is still an above average reggae gospel set. The classic Fanny Crosby penned hymn "Blessed Assurance" is given a reggae makeover while there are some well known worship choruses such as "I Love You Lord", "This Is The Air That I Breath" and "As The Deer".
