For me a much more commercial song than the rather obtuse "You Are The Meadow", "Be An Angel" with its infectious hook propelled by Charlotte's bluesy harmonica, would fit many a radio station playlist, if given the chance. The song, a simple paen of affection to presumably an angel Paul Northup knows, has a wistful summery lilt. The 'Wonderland EP' also offers Eden's legion of devotees another newie, a dense and turbulent "Like In Minds", a live version of "Sing For An Unknown God" and a remix of "Hem Me In" which takes the folk rockers into startling new ambient territory. There's also a fifth track but I won't spoil the surprise.
