Top rate packaging and sleeve design and an emotive synth sweep intro initially had me wondering if we were about to have a fully fledged CRD – Cross Rhythms Discovery. But once the first rather unsure vocal comes in across a rather disappointing track the effect is lost. Other tracks too suffer from a muddy sound and lyrics which though worship orientated never climb above cliché (eg, “Thank you for who you are/Holy God/Thank you for what you’ve done/Holy God”). This young band hail from Swansea and aren’t without potential. But they’ll need to take as much care in the songwriting and studio production as they did with the sleeve, to make an impact.
