This Sheffield outfit have moved upwards from their last album 'Psalms From The Third Floor' and are now 'Stuck Between Floors' delivering a selection of bright dance pop material aimed at a High School audience. I do like the opening "Puttin' Up A Fight" and there's a brilliant version of "Amazing Grace" and there are moments where this works pretty well. I applaud their desire to reach out and the fact they have purposefully aimed to give a thousand copies of this CD away to those who need to hear the message. But I am torn because a lot of this feels like old fashioned Tribe tracks and there isn't much here that really reaches out of the speakers to grab me by the scruff of my neck. The second half of the album consists of older bonus cuts which only serve to illustrate how far forward they've moved production wise. Having said all, this album is free! The amazing deal offered by Elevation is that if you send them just £2.00 to cover postage and packing they will send you a copy.
