We hope this three song tape is a free demo. Whilst there's some good potential here, it feels like a home studio recorded effort, though it's supposed to have been recorded in a Californian studio. It could definitely have done with better mixing. That said, the title track is a funky guitar-dominated rapped track highlighting urban social ills affecting everyone including hopeless pre-teens on drugs and their only solution is to come to Jesus. In fact, the enthusiasm with which Steven raps makes one think he may well have been delivered from the social ills he's highlighting. "Remember Me" is a plea for the Lord to remember one, and it's the soulful duelling female vocals which makes it most appealing. With a more professional arrangement, production and mix. Steven could definitely be rocking hip hop and R&B joints worldwide, because the potential is there. Record company A&Rers get a cop) and see what you can do!
