The three producers designated with putting the expressions of worship series together, Jeff Hamlin. Don Harris and Steven V Taylor are consummate professionals with more albums under their belts than most UK bands manage gigs. What lets this album down is (a) the stylised soft pop-cum-MOR arrangements with synths and soprano saxes continually cushioning the session singers and (b) the continuance by the now absurd worship company convention of releasing albums featuring lead singers without bothering to identify who those singers are. But maybe that's quibbling. If you want silky smooth versions of these particular choruses Expressions Of Worship are for you.
