Recorded live at the Faithful Central Bible Church in Inglewood, California this begins with a prayer then sweeps into a slow, worshipful "Welcome" written by Warryn Campbell who also contributes the sinuous lead vocal. Next up is "Great Is Thy Faithfulness", which isn't THAT "Great Is Thy Faithfulness" but a new, not-as-good song, with lead singer Jimmy Fisher and a mighty mass choir. There are one or two special guests, including he mighty Daryl Coley while lead singer Kurt Lykes, that mighty choir and a funky rhythm section transform Paul Baloche's "Open The Eyes Of My Heart" into a sassy, call-and-response strut. All in all, this is soul stirring stuff so if you're looking for atmospheric African American worship, this 2005 album will do you nicely.
