Only two composers rate inclusion here, and they are Strauss Jr and Tchaikovsky. However you personally may think of the waltz (and I find many of them to be trite...) it can't be denied that as a listening experience the majority of them are quite uplifting - you can't dance to a dirge after all! With a large amount of chagrin I'm afraid I have to admit to finding this disc more enjoyable than any of the others...I must be getting old.
