This one’s nearly three years old now and yet another product of New Zealand’s prolific Parachute Music stable. When I first heard this last year it was not a question of if, but when I’d get hold of it (sadly I still haven’t managed to, so it’s nice to get to hear it again). There’s something about New Zealand that marks its music out as totally individual, and Form follow in the illustrious footsteps of Detour 180 and Lads with a gutsy yet hooky set. The title track sets the tone, while the edgy guitar of “Creator Of All” contrasts well with the soundscape that is “Freedom Song”, and a trio of thoughtful ballads bring matters to a close. The Kiwis have done it again. Quality!
