Quite a story, this. Two Romanian sisters who have been singing for some years have been given the opportunity to put together their own album in the UK. Not only this, but it emerges that lead vocalist Simina was asked by Eurovision Song Contest organisers to consider representing Romania at the 2002 and 2003 contests, but she decided against potentially compromising her Christian witness. So what of the album? Produced with the sympathetic production, musical and songwriting assistance of Phillip Goss, a number of the selections have their origins in Romania (Simina herself has written several). Stylistically, the style is firmly easy listening. Simina has a strong and pleasing voice, with excellent pronunciation .The songs have mainly been translated from Romanian to English although a couple remain in their original tongue - they are actually quite emotive and probably the high points – and I really hope that more opportunities open up for these two, either in their own country or here, because they deserve it.

I am just fascinated by Simina's voice. It is crystal clear, pure as probably as her soul is. Otherwise it isn't possible such beauty, such love to come through her songs. i love Simina and her voice. Eight years ago in Canada I and a friend of mine, Dimitry ,we were in love with Simina's voice. Her voice is just adorable.
By the way, I am not a Christian, nor Mohammedan or Buddhist, nor atheist. I am just myself. And this I'm writing only to be clear that I like Simina not because she does sing Christian songs, no. I love her because of her voice which may make people be little more human even they don't believe in any God.

Much, much love for Simina!

To be honest. I find it disgusting (sorry, for using this word, but it's true) to watch where these two girls started from and where they got so far...

They were so down-to-earth and after getting "famous" they changed so much! Put on makeup (which christians don't use), changed their language (Simina obviously can't spell "L" correctly anymore) and made these horrible video clips. Don't get me started with the video clips.

You could practically put a rock song in the backgroud and the girls gestures and facial expressions would suit perfectly to it.

I'm sorry that they had to change so much for appearing in public.

But I guess: Ladies and gentlemen... THIS IS CHRISTIAN SHOWBIZ!

I'm sorry for adding this comment but I tried hard not to express my dissapointment too bad!

Others might say I'm jealous.... Of what?! Of being famous and being untrue to myself? In the end it could leave me cold, but the way (they think) they're representing the christian religion annoys me out of belief!!!

That's my opinion and it's a free country!

Anna, how can you be so mean and rude? How can you write such a thing? Are you telling me that if you don't wear make up and if you talk and judge the way you do you will get to heaven. Let God be the one to judge and I don't think if you are a Christian you have to look like the last person on this earth? I don't know this two sisters and I don't' care to how them because the words they sing in their songs helps me a lot to be lifted up and I love their songs and makes my day when I hear those words in the songs. I don't care to look for things to judge (barfa). Keep your comments to your self since no one cares to read your bad comments. Simina and Gabriela... keep up the good work and may God bless you everyday to be able to ignore people like Anna.

I really loved all the songs sung by Simina & Gabriela in the "I want to live for you " album, especially the Romanian songs. Truely Simina is my favourite singer. When I hear Simina sing it touches my heart. And I am very glad that you are using your GOD given talent for spreading the good news through the inspiring songs. Very well done. May GOD bless you.
- Jeremy.
