With the sad lack of any TV exposure for today's top CCM artists, video is the only medium we have to see our favourites. This offering from Geoff Moore And The Distance sticks with the normal Christian video format (chat, video, chat, video...), but does it in a totally different way. What we get is five full videos, including the superb Billboard magazine award winning 'Evolution Redefined', 'A Friend Like IT, 'Heart To God, Hand To Man', 'Life Together' and 'When All Is Said And Done'. Each of the videos are superbly shot and are crying out for a wider audience than they will ever get in this blinkered little media-hype led country we live in. The videos themselves would be worthwhile on their own, but they are interspersed with an interview with Geoff - in the year 2044! Donning some very convincing make up, he looks back in a very light-hearted manner on his career, aiming a few swift jabs at his good friend Steven Curtis Chapman on the way! Most of it works and it does make a change to see a bit of thought going into the format of a home video. Buy it, then pester VH-1 and MTV to give CCM a fair crack of the whip.
