24 gospel songs and hymns from the old school, from the foremost exponent of same. Soloist at Billy Graham's crusades since 1947, traditional through and through, and a kind of father figure on the USA evangelical scene. George was never a great singer, but as one more concerned to communicate his message than show off vocal talents he has been an object lesson in humility and priorities. Simple songs such as "It Is No Secret", "Until Then" and "In Times Like These" the greatest gospel hits of a former generation, and some lesser known items, all sung with competence and sincerity. Certainly a slice of history, hardly work of any great artistic merit as such.
