This album is well produced but lacks anything to really catch your attention. Musically the songs are well composed and performed but somewhat...er...bland. There are a few exceptions, "Come Harvest Time", which would not be out of place in a hymn book, "Something To Die For" which contains some wonderfully inspiring lyrics, and, what is probably the most recorded hymn "Amazing Grace". Glen's version is the best track on the album and his deep country vocals work very effectively on this track, which also features Glen playing bagpipes (I lie to you not). If your taste is inclined toward easy listening music then you may find this album very good, if not you will probably find it a bit bland.
