The Here I Am To Worship series is put forward by Kingsway as part of a worship resource and this collection certainly backs that up. 32 hymns from across the ages are re-recorded by a modern contemporary styled pop band. People always go on about how those old hymns had great words - guess what? It's true. But wait a minute, there's newer hymns here too and they also hit the mark lyric-wise! The main advantage of this recording over other collections is that the hymns are all played by the same group of musicians (more or less). That means you get enough continuity to hold it together as well as a few surprises and different ideas in how to bring new life to some of those old classics.
