This team from Central Illinois come from a group, The Elite M.O.C. (which stands for Men Of Christ), and the Hostyle part of their name is their style of delivery rather than their general attitude. Having said that, there's quite a bit of anger directed at those rappers who "blaspheme for the fame" on the song "That's Life" while "Monsters" is a direct spiritual confrontation with demons confidently declaring "In Jesus' name I stop 'em." One reviewer described this album as being "peppered with fist-pumping, pep rally-style chants designed to fire up a crowd to join Hostyle Gospel in taking up the fight" and I wouldn't disagree. Lyrical subtlety clearly isn't Hostyle Gospel's strong point but if you want your spiritual declarations shouted at you and you recognize that all of us are involved in an all-out spiritual battle there's much here on the group's third album to inspire you.

What do you mean, who is this group? How would you know about a song they made if you don't know who this is.
