Reviewed by Trevor Kirk Trivia fact: Ishmael has now clocked up 30 albums in his various guises as Ishmael & Andy, Ishmael United, Rev Counta & The Speedoze, The Glorie Company, etc; etc. Another fact is that he is known to the Cross Rhythms Spellchecker as Fishmeal. The vast majority of those 30 albums have been recorded and mixed at ICC, which potentially explains why he is respected and even revered as a children's worship leader par excellence, and can always be counted upon to produce a quality, cringe-free album. Helping Ish out on this one are Duggie Horley, Si Fenner, Mark Topley and Nick Haigh, which explains why there's a definite Celtic feel to several songs, and Mrs Belinda Duggie Dug Dug looks after the kiddywinkers, and deserves a lot of credit for the standard of their singing. Cedarmont please note! Mind you, there's not a lot she could do about Ish's pipes, but he never claimed to be able to sing anyway! On this generously filled CD (which also includes backing tracks), we have 12 new compositions, along with a new worship mix of the old favourite "Father God I Wonder", and it's a typical Ish collection, with meaningful lyrics and good straightforward tunes. A boon for all harassed Sunday School and other kids' leaders who want a worthwhile resource to help their youngsters' spiritual development. Recommended.
