Jason McKinnis is a worship leader from the Maple Valley WA. His ministry involves touring churches with his band and leading relevant worship for young people. This is the second CD of his own songs. It showcases some great alternative worship lyrics, "God himself became for us the hero of all time." The musicianship and vocal performances are very solid and there's some cool experimental sounds and programming. While essentially well produced, there are moments lacking in depth or where the vocals are marginally too low in the mix. These are by no means major criticisms and this is an album well worth investigation.
