Having heard so much about this band courtesy of HM magazine, I have to say that I am sadly disappointed by 'T.I.N'. Though fairly well executed, the drums sound tinny and constrained within the mix throughout the proceedings, resulting in a rather marred listening experience. Lyrically weak, such songs as "Kendall" ('Kendell you're the bestest girl in the world'), 'Snowwhite' ('I know she's only 19 but she is/ the girl of my dreams/if she would just ring me back/i could calm down and relax') and 'Birthday Boy' (with the line 'Happy birthday to me' repeated once too often) do little to inspire any great response within the listener, other than perhaps wish there was a little more to this 28 minute disc. Even with such anthems as 'Not Ashamed' and 'Tradition', there is not really enough material here of merit to hold 'T.I.N.' a cut above the rest of the current pop punk rock genre.
