Anyone remember xDisciplex.A.D? Well, the former members have returned with this new band. Normally I don't do hardcore but I remember xDisciplex.A.D. as being rather listenable. Jesus Wept play fast brutal hardcore with a hard hitting message. This EP features seven tracks and while it's over rather quickly it is sure to keep you entertained for it's duration. From the years of playing together you will gather that they are experienced musicians and it shows with the crunching guitar riffs, pounding drums and furious vocals. It's all very well executed and the production is very clean too giving a powerful sound which will certainly satisfy the appetite of any hardcore lover. From the catchy "Cold Weather" to the more aggressive "One Hand In Hell" this is certainly one of the better hardcore releases I've heard in quite some time.
