Usually always good for a gospel song this secular release by the duo oozes with wholesome values. Guesting with the McReynolds Brothers are Emmylou Harris. Roy Huskey Jr. Carl Jackson and Allen Shelton on a dozen down home pop bluegrass favourites. This is the sweeter brand of the genre that is easier to stomach than the more sour, true-blue variety. With 50 years in the business no one can say the boys don't know their stuff! Particularly featured are the old Carter Family numbers but I particularly enjoyed the reminders of Grandpa Jones, Fred Rose and Albert Brumley. the Southern gospel songwriter.
