Not a good idea kicking off your CD with a cover version of a Michael W Smith, particularly when your recording budget was probably a 40th of that enjoyed by Mr Smith, but after a so-so version of "Rocketown" Joanna Davies and Matthew Thomas settle down to a set of attractive synth pop compositions. Jo's voice has an attractive pop lilt and keyboards whiz Matt has some good ideas. Nothing particularly ground-breaking but the original "Empty World" and their revival of Phil And John's "Hearts On Fire" are very pleasant.
