I like this album a lot. Not only is it nicely produced with instruments being expertly played and superb vocals from the Nashville-based songsmith that, without mentioning Jesus in its lyrics, always points the listener in that direction. It constantly uplifts and encourages us to persevere with this different world view and lifestyle. Jonathon's thought provoking, witty and intelligent lyrics throughout lend support to his obvious talent for writing catchy anthemic pop music. An excellent combination which make the eight tracks a pleasure to listen to. Stand out tracks include "The Water's Fine", encouraging people to take that leap of faith into the full life that God wants for you; "Can't Put Me Down", a song of exuberant faith and defiance to the world's pulling power; and "Not A Thing" which is an excellent song of personal devotion and love to God. Well worth investigating.
