A 12-track CD of generally easy listening pop balladry (although the opening track is synth-driven and almost dancey), competently sung by Juliet, with the assistance of real people playing real instruments, and some well-programmed percussion. All but one of the songs were written by Juliet and her mum Brenda Taylor, and whilst the themes are familiar and oft-visited, the songs themselves are well crafted and mercifully free of many of the cliches and banalities that plague far too many lower-budget projects. A pleasant listen.
