Reviewed by Trevor Kirk July 10 are a trio from Texas, Jerry and Amanda Miller and Jeff Carter, and they give us 11 tracks of pop for this release, some of it veering towards rock, but most of it more gentle and lyrical, especially "Early In The Morning", an Easter Day story song, and "July 10", the band's signature song, the day in 1998 when Jerry embarked on what he describes as the greatest journey of his life, to record the songs he'd written. Other songs reflect on Christmas through Mary's eyes ("Mary's Song"), forgiveness ("In The Past"), and the here and the hereafter ("Beyond Life"). Nothing particularly innovative, just pleasant, Bible-based music that is competently written and sung, although Amanda's voice is a little thin on the top notes.
