There are too many worship albums in the world! And here's one that should never have escaped into civilisation! I am all for facilitating children's worship but this is horrible. Trust me, it is! It's packed with bland arrangements of the usual collection of worship songs that you've heard ten million times before. Cynical me? Check out the tracklist. "Majesty", "Abba Father", "Seek Ye First", "Oh How I Love Jesus", "Lord I Lift Your Name On High", "Celebrate Jesus Celebrate", "I Am A New Creation", "Be Bold Be Strong", etc, etc, etc. Then there are the vocal performances which reach new depths of sickly, horrible kiddie singing on top of the already bland tracks. There is very little to redeem this CD and although I am resisting remixing it with a large hammer, there is nothing here that would make me recommend you play this to any children that you like. There must be better ways of encouraging children to praise God than this twee pap. And it's a double CD! There must be a handful of excellent children's ministries in the UK that are creating imaginative kids' worship that would benefit from a CD release. Why not invest in them instead of this nasty and cheap shortcut of a worship album?
