Born into a proud gospel dynasty, 'Kiki' has been making gospel hits since 2004.
'Free' is produced and written by Kierra and her producer/brother, J Drew Sheard II (JDS), and was recorded live in Chicago with an intro by gospel super-producer, Donald Lawrence and additional material recorded in the studio. Musically, the album touches both ends of the praise spectrum with ease. The first single "Mighty" shakes the house with its anthem style chorus and engaging beat, while the Laura Storey cover "Indescribable" is awe inspiring in its delivery of praise with a capital P! To the casual listener, the sudden switch to studio recordings at track 11 ("Believers Evolved") is a bit of a shock. There is another jarring moment with the track "Interlude"; it fades in half way through what sounds like a jam session and lasts less than a minute. So overall, despite the album's highlights one gets the impression of a botched together compilation rather than a coherent collection of tracks.

Product Description
After being featured on the crossover smash “God In Me” with Mary Mary, Kierra Sheard is back with a new album of her own entitled “Free”.

The music is a reflection of Kierra accepting the true freedom that only Christ can offer. Produced entirely by her brother J. Drew Sheard II, it is a timely mix of up-tempo urban grooves with lyrics that will reach today’s generation.
