The King Of Kings Assembly (KKA) is a fellowship from Jerusalem. 'Worship In Jerusalem' is just that! Recorded live in Jerusalem at the KKA (although not in a service), and a little help from the strings of the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, it was therefore a surprise to me that (even though many of the songs are in Hebrew) the over all feel of the album is musically more Western (ie, US or UK) than Jewish. The songs that feature solo artists as well as the choir work better for me than choir only - the solo pieces contrast with the choral sections well. The opening songs (choir only) do become a little monotonous, but as the album continues, and more solo voices are used, it matures into a good praise album. Some of the songs alternate between English and Hebrew, translating the verses from one language to the other - very handy for "we of little Hebrew", like me. This album is a good buy for anyone looking for an addition to their praise/worship collection.
