Having sold over a million albums across seven releases, as part of the successful group ZOEgirl, Schweain now pitches for a solo career with her debut solo release. The album is strongly piano based and is some way from the perky teen pop of ZOEgirl. Use of a variety of accompanying instruments throughout effectively communicates a variety of moods, from ethereal string-backed ballads to punch jazz numbers. Regardless of the arrangement, it is the smooth and beautiful quality of Schweain's voice that carries so effortlessly to the foreground. Picking up on facets of a turbulent world, 'Days Of Eden' is a very pleasant collection of songs that provoke a realisation of just how far humanity has strayed from those brief days in the garden.
