Kurt Kaiser is a veteran whom the US Christian music world has been using for years to bring a neo-symphonic MOR gloss to countless albums while occasionally stepping forward to the concert grande to deliver an album of his own. Considering the grandiose excess of some of his previous works this is a pleasant surprise, delicate piano versions of well known hymns and songs ("Holy Holy Holy", "The Greatest Thing In All My Life", "There Is A Redeemer") with strings used sensitively and with a master arranger's skill. Timeless, somewhat formulaic, but there is a market for albums like this.
