Laura's been waiting her turn for awhile now, having toured as a backing singer for Laura Storey and Britt Nicole in 2011. This six-song EP shows that the talented lady has grasped her opportunity with both hands. The title track is the killer, with a guitar hook that demands interest and a brittle, clipped vocal which perfectly suits the song's groove, this will sound great on radio while the lines "When faith is silenced by my disbelief/When I tremble in uncertainty/When I am shaken at the core of me/You remain" resonate with truth. Written by Tiffany Thurston and Guy Zabka and cleverly produced by Ron Rawls "Unshakeable" is one of the best tracks you'll hear this year. Two other songs, "By Faith" and a credible version of Brooke Taylor's worship classic "Hosanna", also impress. A hugely impressive debut.
