They themselves call it "new wave metal". Not new metal like P.O.D. etc, but a kind of hybrid of hardcore, emo, pop and metal. It is and it works, though it possibly has a more limited appeal than new metal, or should I say it's for the more discerning. The vibe between the guitar and bass gives the music a slightly more alternative than intense edge. I can't shake off the slight hints of Fold Zandura, but these guys are much heavier and with less keyboards. The lyrics are interesting, if a little cryptic. It might possibly take a little more getting into than some, but these guys are good.
