20 year old Lindsay McCaul has produced five fantastic tracks here that make her appear to be an extremely well accomplished singer/songwriter. On 'Lay It Down' we hear the college student sing self-penned radio-friendly pop tunes that could conceivably make her a future contender for contemporary chart acclaim. Think Kendall Payne doing her ballad style sounds and that almost hits the mark, except that here too we have an individual who, at such a young age, is herself an inspiring and unique performer. Her vulnerable expressions of trust, gratitude, worship and praise easily draw in the listener - shame there weren't a few more recordings on here. However, if these five tracks, especially "I've Always Adored You" and "Let Go", are particularly strong. Lindsay, who hails from the sunshine state, Florida, blends together a mix of pop sounds with a slight country edge and I have no doubt we will be hearing more from this gifted young singer/songwriter.

Lindsay, I have been watching and listening to gospel amd imspirational music for 35 years and you have recieved an outstanding gift frm God, I am hopefull to see you in person with James MacDonald one day, it was a priviledge to watch someone so young, and gifted praise God as you do. This fellow MacDonald, whatever you do stay close he is alive with the word. Best of luck, you are off the charts outstanding for The Lord.

I heard Lindsay during a Downpour concert and had to do lots of research to find out who she was and how to get her album. What a treasure! I love her voice and the words are so true. I can't wait to see what she will be putting out in future.
