It was way back in 1974 that this milestone album first saw the light of day and now unexpectedly there are sufficient Jesus music nostalgists around to warrant a re-issue. In fact, Love Song, featuring the expressive voice of Chuck Girard, have reformed and are currently playing gigs Stateside. Does this gentle country/folk/pop rock very much in Crosby, Stills And Nash mould stand up in today's world of grunge and techno? You're durn tooting it does. Listen to that lazy pedal steel on "Since I Opened Up The Door", catch those delicate harmonies on "Think About What Jesus Said" and enjoy the songs from an era when simply singing you loved Jesus seemed revolutionary.
