Luke might only be known to those eagle-eyed people who read the composer credits on CD booklets - he wrote a number of tracks on the most recent Parachute Band album - but he is sure to win a number of fans with this gentle six track EP of worship songs. The songs are all sensitively arranged and produced with quiet guitar and piano the main instruments and his lyrics deftly explore our relationship with Jesus and how we find our identity in him. Throughout, the songs here manage to avoid being too "romantic" in the images they conjure up and neatly achieve the balance between Jesus as lover and Jesus as Lord. An EP well worth searching for as an accompaniment to spending some quality time alone with God.
