It's a little difficult to get a clear picture of Brighton-based MC Tempo as even his website isn't too forthcoming beyond volunteering the information that our man has a split personality and enjoys super noodles. Tempo has, it would seem, been described as the UK's answer to Eminem. This may actually be something of a poisoned chalice these days, and I'm not sure there's much of a similarity, but this double EP has enough authentic moments and cool backbeats, such as the punchy "Every Knee Will Bow", "10 Commandments", "Heaven & Hell" and "Hardcore" - which isn't quite, but gets close enough - to keep the bruthas and sistas happy.
