Recorded in Florida, this is Madelyn Berry's third album release and her first live recording. Those familiar with her music will be unsurprised to hear a big energetic band and sound with multiple singers, great voices and lively tunes, including her signature song "You Deserve All The Praise". Those new to her work will be excited by her dynamic gospel worship sound. The title track was inspired by the teaching of Madelyn's late pastor, Dr Zachery Tims, and is a standout. Several songs were clearly written from a place of loss, yet look towards a God of abundant blessing and worthy of ever more praise. "Worship Medley", thanks to an imaginative arrangement, is strong too. The last three tracks, moving from the live recordings to acoustic and remixed versions add some needed variety. 'Release The Sound' is produced by Madelyn's husband and with fellow worship leaders Martha Munizzi, Darwin Hobbs, LaRune Howard and Trent Cory all offering soulful support is a strong album although the live audience can tend to fade in and out of the recording.
