Meka has had a busy showbiz career since her first album in 2006, with appearances in musicals such as The Lion King and having worked with acts like Ron Kenoly, William McDowell and Martha Munizzi. This, her second album, was released in 2013 and there is now a Deluxe Edition out there. Recorded in Florida, this two CD set allows Meka's soulful voice to shine as demonstrated on songs such as "Generation Change". Overall the album is an engaging experience, capturing the atmosphere, although there are studio additions to the album such as "Beautiful" which encourages women not be ashamed (Meka has been involved in girl and youth ministries). Other songs include the self-penned "Journey To Faith" and Hallelujah" alongside well known choruses such as "Our God" which captures the live gospel feel beautifully.
