Britain's answer to the Maranatha Singers. Well, not quite but New Horizons have definitely found a role for themselves down the years touring the country and offering a rich, smooth choir sound which sounds good on both classic hymns and new praise choruses. Nicely conducted by Andrew King and with simple piano and organ accompaniments, standouts are John Pantry's "Wonderful Grace", the Masie Lister's "Be Holy" (with some deep resonant passages almost recalling a Welsh male voice choir) and the "How Great Thou Art" evergreen. This isn't music to break new boundaries but it will bless thousands.
