Ever since the instrumental albums of Rob & Gilly Bennett revealed an unsuspected marketplace for classically-tinged guitar renditions of worship choruses and hymns there has been a steady stream of such releases though many have been packaged in an excessively anonymous manner. This 2006 release is a double CD from Britain's guitar virtuoso and whether he's playing Stuart Townend's "In Christ Alone", Dave Bilbrough's "All Hail The Lamb", Darlene Zschech's "Shout To The Lord", Paul Oakley's "Who Is There Like You" or his own composition "Deep Peace Of The Gentle Christ", the effect is soothingly meditative.
