Anybody who has been following the career of Germany's top Christian band Normal Generation? will know that this talented team have evolved from a Euro dance unit to a pop rock aggregation. Even more important, they have developed the ability to craft funky hooks in abundance and this snappy set brims over with tracks which will sound great on radio. (Cross Rhythms have already selected "Heyo", "Please Wake Me Up", "Draw Me Closer" and "Hold On" for playlist exposure.) Often, the thing which lets this kind of stuff down are rather limp raps but here the raps add a funky vibe to the proceedings while singer Rebecca is an exceptional and rather soulful addition to the lineup. Exemplary production from keyboard maestro Dieter Falk make this a top line product and about the only small hiccough is a rather unnecessary cover of "I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever". Still, an outstanding release crying out for UK distribution.
