Maryland-based singer/actor Levis, whose credits include working on the Disney Channel and leading Christian band Least Of These for 10 years, has released his first solo album. Despite kicking off in predictable default modern worship fashion with the pounding title track, it's not long before Levis puts his own stamp on proceedings as he offers up more considered and stripped back pieces such as "Unwearied Savior", "My Rock" and "Found Victorious" - all of which advocate reliance on God as well as showcasing some fine vocals from the ex-Disney star. A bluegrass-tinged rendition of "How Great Thou Art", a duet with Caitlin Wade on "This Song" and the stirringly anthemic closer "Take Your Place" all add variety to this accomplished debut.
