Paul has been one of the most tireless of Britain's pop gospel journeymen this past decade and it's great to see and hear him getting long overdue recognition with the release of this album on a German mainstream label. The music with its inventive programming from producer Gunter Houser has the same kind of feel as another CCM veteran Paul Field, and both zippy up tempo numbers and yearning ballads seem taylor-made for pop radio. There is some telling lyric writing too like "Tell Ev'rybody" ("Beware of false prophets/They will make you fall/Through guilt and shame sin and blame/Persistent in it all") and the catchy title track ("With you in my heart I can breathe liberty/With you in my heart/I can be free"). Recommended.
