Paul is best known as the frontman for Christian heavy rockers A.N.D. (remember their 'Get Real' album?) but now shows he can handle other styles as well, turning in a moving, wistful "I Can't Make You Love Me", a power ballad "Carry Me" and some torrid blues "Need Your Loving". My favourite is "No Compromise" with Paul's rich and gritty vocals intersected with some delicious Knoefler-style guitar. "No Compromise" could almost be Paul's theme tune for the veteran singer/guitarist/producer/engineer disillusioned with what he sees as the CCM industry as little more than money changers in the temple, offers this album completely free! It will come to you with an exhortation to, if possible, copy it and pass it on! Paul is a highly talented gospel communicator and I urge you to investigate his pioneering ministry.
