All credit to Mr Goodsell who wrote, performed, engineered and produced this album by himself, but I wonder whether perhaps he needs input from other musicians to raise the standard. It is a brave effort but as a result, sounds a bit thin and as if it has all been done on an extremely hi-tech keyboard or synthesizer. There are some potentially excellent songs on this "Project", but they need developing imaginatively and a good producer to edit and enhance the sound. "Who Do You Turn To?", for example, would be a good song if the bass didn't follow the melody line, which is never a good idea. Songs that stand out are "More Than Before"; for a good chorus; "Somehow I've Changed" and "Your Love", but the singing is weak and the lyrics cliche-ridden. The saxophone is effective, though, and all the backing would be much improved by the use of a larger variety of real instruments
