Peter used to be a member of Truth but as that choir-cum-group mean little in the UK, that's not going to instantly create a support base for Peter, who demonstrates excellent pipes in a blue-eyed soul sort of style and clearly shows that his years working as a behind-the scenes CCM toiler as a songwriter have given him the ability to craft a good song. "Hope In My Heart" is, in the words of an astute American reviewer, "a connect-the-dots gospel hit that works" while "I Feel" wouldn't be out of place on a Stevie Wonder album. Surprise song is "That's Where You Come In", co-written by Ty Lacey, an artfully crafted song of the highest quality. Yep, an excellent CD debut. Here's hoping it gets noticed in a seriously overcrowded market place.
